Tanzania Network Information Centre (tzNIC) held its 1st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 30th May 2009 at Millennium Peacock Hotel. The meeting covered the performance report and Accounts for the period Jan 2007 to June 2008. It was attended by its founding members (TCRA and TISPA), Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) members, the external Auditor and Secretariat members.

The following agenda items were transacted:
1. Opening of the meeting;
2. Adoption of the agenda;
3. PAC Chairman’s statement;
4. tzNIC performance report for the period January 2007 to June 2008;
5. tzNIC audited accounts for the period January 2007 to  June 2008;
6. AOB;
7. Closing the meeting.

Among the issues discussed under AOB was the selection of new PAC Members for the 2nd Term (June 2009 to May 2011). The following were selected by tzNIC founding Members:
